Zingen is als eten en drinken: als je gezond eet en drinkt voel je je beter. Als je gezond zingt behaal je betere resultaten. En gezond zingen kan ik je leren.

Mijn methode is gebaseerd op de Italiaanse belcantotechniek die ik geleerd heb tijdens mijn studie bij Gabriella Ravazzi in Genua.

Als  zanger zijn we vaak op zoek naar de juiste docent. Na jaren als zanger te hebben gewerkt, niet alleen als solist maar ook als koorlid, als hoofdvakdocent aan the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, als gastdocent aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Kopenhagen en het Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Napels, en sinds 2019 als hoofdvakdocent aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, weet ik wat er nodig is om als zanger goed voorbereid voor de dag te komen. Dit heeft de afgelopen jaren erin geresulteerd dat mijn studenten prijzen behalen op internationale concoursen en worden aangenomen om rollen te zingen bij vooraanstaande operagezelschappen.

Ik bied:

• technisch beter functioneren (plaatsing en resonantie, ademsteun, tongpositie, souplesse in de klankvorming);
• het studeren van een hele rol en/of aria’s in diversen talen (technische benadering, stijl en muzikaal bewustzijn);
• het studeren van lied- en oratoriumrepertoire (technische benadering, stijl en muzikaal bewustzijn);
• voorbereiden van audities.

Ik woon op loopafstand van het station Voorschoten (3 minuten), dat binnen enkele minuten te bereiken is vanaf Leiden centraal en Den Haag centraal. Er is ruime en gratis parkeergelegenheid voor de deur.

Tarieven (alle inclusief btw):

• 1 zangles à 60 minuten: 75 euro.
• 5 zanglessen in een week: 375 euro. Ik bied je de mogelijkheid om in een korte tijdspanne van een week 5 lessen van 60 minuten te volgen, waarin je de mogelijkheid hebt geconcentreerd aan één of meerdere aspecten naar behoefte te werken. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld een technisch aspect zijn, maar ook een snelle auditievoorbereiding. Bij afname van dit pakket krijg je een korting van 25 euro, en bied ik je dit aan voor 350 euro.
• 10 zanglessen à 60 minuten: 700 euro.

Recently this has resulted in my students receiving prizes at international competitions and being hired for roles at prestigious opera companies.

I offer:

• functioning better technically (placement and resonance, breath support, tongue position, souplesse in the emission of the sound);
• studying an entire role and/or arias in various languages (technical approach, style and musical awareness);
• studying Art song and Oratorio repertoire (technical approach, style and musical awareness);
• preparation of auditions.

I live within walking distance from Voorschoten station (3 minutes), reachable from Leiden and Den Haag within a couple of minutes and from Amsterdam Airport directly within 25 minutes.
Parking space is ample and free.

Rates (VAT included):

• 1 singing lesson of 60 minutes: 75 euros.
• 5 singing lessons in one week: 375 euros. I offer you the possibility to work for 5 consecutive days in lessons of 60 minutes each, in which you have the possiblity to tackle a specific aspect of your choice. This can be a technical aspect, but also a quick audition preparation. On the acquisition of this package I give you a discount of 25 euros, and I offer you this for 350 euros.
